The Mishimoto Performance Cold‑Side Intercooler Pipe increases charged‑air flow and improves long‑term reliability for the 2013–2018 Ford Focus ST. The factory rubber hose is prone to degradation and movement under load, especially during aggressive driving. Mishimoto replaces this component with a five‑layer silicone construction reinforced with internal steel wire to maintain shape, resist heat, and remain securely positioned in the engine bay under elevated boost pressures.

To accommodate upgrades such as the Mishimoto Performance Radiator, the pipe features a unique elliptical profile that provides additional clearance without compromising flow. The internal diameter is expanded to 2.5 inches, delivering a 10‑percent increase in volume and a 40‑percent improvement in airflow compared to the stock piping. High‑torque worm‑gear clamps are included to ensure secure, leak‑free connections.
