MISHIMOTO Ford Focus ST Hot-Side Intercooler Pipe Kit, 2013-2018

The Mishimoto Performance Hot‑Side Intercooler Pipe increases charged‑air flow and improves boost efficiency for the 2013–2018 Ford Focus ST. The factory hot‑side pipe is burdened by multiple bends, a restrictive internal diameter, and integrated muffling features that disrupt airflow and create turbulence on the way to the intercooler. Mishimoto replaces this design with a smoother, larger‑diameter pipe engineered to reduce restriction and enhance throttle response.

The upgraded pipe increases diameter to 2.5 inches, delivering a 14‑percent increase in internal volume and supporting gains of 8 hp and 10 lb‑ft of torque on the stock tune. While portions of the OEM system are aluminum, the factory couplers are made from rubber that degrades under heat and pressure. Mishimoto includes five‑layer silicone couplers reinforced with heat‑resistant fibers and internal wire to ensure long‑term durability and consistent boost retention.
