Using advanced 3D printing, CAD modeling, and flow‑bench validation, Mishimoto reduced intake restriction by 51.7 percent compared to the stock system. On a stock‑tuned MK7 GTI, this improvement delivered dyno‑proven gains of up to 5.27 horsepower and 9.23 lb‑ft of torque. The kit includes a high‑flow oiled air filter offering a 52‑percent increase in filtration surface area over the OEM panel filter, ensuring strong airflow while maintaining effective filtration.
