The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is engineered specifically for the 2012 BMW F30 equipped with the N20 engine. This system maintains safe air‑fuel ratios on the stock tune and delivers a more aggressive induction tone under acceleration and boost. The free‑flowing design enhances turbocharger spool and BPV acoustics for a more engaging driving experience.

The intake utilizes the factory duct to channel cool outside air toward the Mishimoto High‑Flow Oiled Air Filter, which provides increased filtration surface area compared to the OEM paper element. The filter is fully serviceable and can be cleaned and reused for long‑term performance. An enclosed airbox constructed from lightweight 5052 aluminum with a black powder‑coated finish protects the filter from engine‑bay heat soak while reducing weight and adding a refined appearance to the engine bay.
