MISHIMOTO BMW E46 323i,325i,328i Air Intake Kit, 1999-2005

Mishimoto has developed a performance air intake engineered specifically for the 1999–2005 BMW E46 323i, 325i, and 328i. This intake is fully compatible with the stock tune and maintains safe air‑fuel ratios under load. The free‑flowing design produces a more aggressive induction tone, delivering a noticeable increase in engine sound during acceleration.

The system utilizes the factory intake duct to channel cool outside air toward the high‑flow Mishimoto oiled air filter, which offers increased filtration surface area compared to the OEM paper element. The filter is fully serviceable and can be cleaned and reused for long‑term performance. A steel heat shield with pre‑assembled rubber trim is included to help isolate the filter from hot engine‑bay air and promote consistent airflow temperatures.

This intake is a complete bolt‑on upgrade that installs in approximately one hour using common hand tools and functions seamlessly with the stock ECU calibration. It is also fully compatible with Mishimoto silicone intake hoses for additional airflow improvements.
