MISHIMOTO BMW E46 330i Air Intake Kit, 2001-2006

Mishimoto has engineered a performance air intake specifically for the 2001–2006 BMW E46 330i. This intake is fully compatible with the stock tune and maintains safe air‑fuel ratios under load. The free‑flowing design delivers a more aggressive induction tone, enhancing engine sound during acceleration.

The system utilizes the factory intake duct to supply cool outside air to the high‑flow Mishimoto oiled air filter, which provides increased filtration surface area compared to the OEM paper element. The filter is serviceable and can be cleaned and reused for long‑term performance. A steel heatshield with pre‑assembled rubber trim is included to help isolate the filter from hot engine‑bay air and promote consistent airflow temperatures.

This intake is a complete bolt‑on upgrade that installs in approximately one hour using common hand tools and functions seamlessly with the stock ECU calibration. It is also fully compatible with Mishimoto silicone E46 intake hoses for additional airflow improvements.
