Mishimoto has engineered a performance low‑temperature racing thermostat for BMW M52, M54, and M56 engines. This thermostat is ideal for modified or high‑demand applications where enhanced cooling performance is required. It begins opening 48°F (27°C) earlier than the factory unit, allowing coolant to circulate through the radiator sooner and begin shedding heat more effectively.

Each thermostat is supplied pre‑installed in an OEM‑quality housing for reliable sealing and straightforward installation.
