The Mishimoto Expansion Tank enhances reliability and engine‑bay presentation for the 2014–2019 Ford Fiesta ST. The factory plastic tank is prone to discoloration, deformation, and long‑term failure due to continuous thermal cycling. Mishimoto replaces the OEM unit with a fully TIG‑welded aluminum tank engineered for durability and consistent performance.

Internal baffling is incorporated to prevent coolant starvation at the overflow ports and to reduce sloshing during high‑speed cornering, braking, and acceleration. A built‑in sight glass provides clear visibility of hot and cold coolant levels for accurate monitoring. The tank installs in under one hour and is designed to work with the factory expansion‑tank cap. An overflow nipple on the fill neck allows the addition of an auxiliary coolant reservoir for NHRA compliance.
