The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler Piping Kit for the 2016–2018 Ford Focus RS reduces restriction and increases charged‑air volume by combining both the hot‑side and cold‑side piping systems into a single, optimized package. The cold‑side pipe is constructed from a single section of five‑ply, wire‑reinforced silicone, eliminating the need for multiple couplers and reducing potential leak points. Its flexible design simplifies installation while providing the strength required to withstand elevated boost pressures. The enlarged internal diameter delivers a 31‑percent increase in volume and a 46‑percent improvement in flow compared to the factory pipe. Available in black, the cold‑side pipe reaches its full potential when paired with the Mishimoto hot‑side system.

The hot‑side pipe features a specially designed aluminum mid‑section joined with durable silicone couplers to maintain boost integrity across the entire system. The diameter is increased to 2.5 inches, and the pipe is shaped specifically to direct airflow toward the front PTU cooler—an area obstructed by traditional cylindrical piping. Wire‑reinforced, five‑ply silicone couplers ensure secure connections at both the turbocharger and intercooler. The kit installs without modification and includes all necessary hardware for a direct‑fit upgrade engineered to retain every PSI of boost.
