MISHIMOTO Ford Focus RS Thermostatic Oil Cooler Kit, 2016-2018

The Mishimoto Oil Cooler Kit for the 2016–2018 Ford Focus RS is engineered to prevent elevated oil temperatures from shortening track sessions or compromising engine reliability. Aggressive driving and extended high‑load operation can quickly exceed the capabilities of the factory cooling system, so Mishimoto developed a dedicated solution to stabilize oil temperatures and protect long‑term engine health.

The heat exchanger used in this system is one of the largest oil coolers Mishimoto produces, designed from scratch specifically for the Focus RS. It mounts at the front of the vehicle where airflow is most abundant, ensuring consistent cooling performance under demanding conditions. Application‑specific braided stainless‑steel lines route oil between the cooler and engine, and feature -10AN fittings for secure, straightforward installation.

The kit is available with a Sleek Silver or Stealth Black cooler, and can be configured with an optional thermostatic sandwich plate to regulate oil flow based on temperature. Installation requires no modification, and the system integrates cleanly with factory components.
