The Mishimoto Racing Thermostat for the 2005–2011 Ford Focus is engineered to improve cooling efficiency under both street and track conditions. This thermostat begins opening 25.2°F (14°C) earlier than the factory unit, at 154.4°F (68°C), allowing coolant to circulate through the radiator sooner and begin shedding heat more effectively. The result is more stable operating temperatures during high‑load driving.
