The Mishimoto Radiator Hose Kit for the 2017–2021 Honda Civic Type R is engineered to improve cooling reliability and withstand the extreme thermal demands of the K20C1 engine. The factory rubber hoses degrade over time from repeated heat‑cycling and elevated coolant pressures, making them a weak point in the FK8’s cooling system. Mishimoto addresses this with a direct‑fit silicone replacement designed for long‑term durability and improved performance.

Each hose is constructed from high‑grade silicone reinforced with heat‑resistant embedded fibers, providing stable operation at temperatures up to 330°F. The multi‑layer design offers increased pressure tolerance compared to the OEM hoses, ensuring consistent coolant flow during aggressive driving, track use, or high‑boost conditions. High‑quality worm‑gear clamps are included to secure the hoses under all operating environments.
